Seraphim is a premium property and prices change considerably by room type. Booking.com recently showed sampled Deluxe Rooms around US$334 per night and suites higher, before taxes, but this is not a permanent rate.

Where is Seraphim Cave Suites?

Seraphim is in Mustafapasa, historically known as Sinasos. The village is quieter than Goreme and central Urgup and has a strong traditional stone-house atmosphere.

Booking.com gives the hotel's location a 9.2/10 score. The property is also close to Gomeda Valley, making it useful for travellers who want access to quieter southern Cappadocia landscapes.

Choose Mustafapasa if: you want a quieter, historic village base and are comfortable using a rental car, taxi or organised transfers for the busiest Cappadocia sights.

An 1853 mansion with 26 rooms

The hotel's hotel website says the original mansion dates from 1853 and sits on more than 5,000 square metres of gardens and natural rock formations.

The same current page now lists 26 luxury boutique rooms. Some older third-party listings still show 21 rooms, so we use the hotel's current figure here.

What are the room types?

The current official room structure includes Standard Room, Deluxe Room, Deluxe Suite, Queen Suite, King Suite and Family Suite.

Standard Rooms use Cappadocia stone architecture, while Deluxe Rooms are described as standard cave rooms. The higher suite categories add more space and, in several cases, private jacuzzis.

Deluxe and Queen Suites with jacuzzi

The hotel currently describes the Deluxe Suite as a cave suite with a private jacuzzi and sitting area. Queen Suites also include a jacuzzi, private entrance and seating space.

These are useful categories for couples who want the cave experience plus more private wellness features.

King Suites

King Suites currently range from approximately 50 to 90 m². That is a significant size range, so it is worth checking the exact room assigned rather than relying only on the category name.

Family Suites

Family Suites are the largest category. The official hotel site currently describes them as roughly 80 to 120 m².

This makes Seraphim more practical for family groups than many small romantic cave hotels where the biggest rooms still sleep only two or three guests.

Indoor swimming pool

The indoor pool is a major advantage for cold-weather stays. The hotel's spa page describes an indoor swimming pool with underfloor heating, designed for year-round use.

Turkish bath, sauna and treatments

Seraphim Spa currently lists a traditional Turkish hammam, sauna, indoor pool and personalised massage and body treatments.

This makes the hotel particularly relevant to travellers searching for a genuine spa hotel rather than simply a cave room with a bathtub.

Tasula Restaurant

Tasula is the on-site restaurant. Seraphim describes a menu built around local ingredients and Cappadocian/Turkish traditions, alongside international influences and a wine list with local and international choices.

Booking.com lists Turkish, international and European cuisine with halal and vegetarian options.

Breakfast

The hotel's official site currently lists breakfast from 08:30 to 11:00 and encourages guests to eat in the garden when conditions allow.

Booking.com describes the breakfast as continental and halal and includes it in several displayed room rates.

What do guests say?

Booking.com shows Seraphim Cave Suites & SPA at 9.8/10 from 74 reviews. Comfort is an exceptional 10.0, facilities and staff 9.9, cleanliness 9.8, value 9.5, Wi-Fi 9.5 and location 9.2.

The review sample is smaller than those for some established Goreme hotels, but the current category scores are unusually strong.

Who is Seraphim best for?

Seraphim works especially well for couples, families and winter travellers who want a serious wellness component as part of the hotel stay.

It is also a good match for travellers who prefer the historic character of Mustafapasa and do not need to stay in the busiest tourism centre.

Who may prefer another hotel?

If your priority is walking directly into Goreme's restaurant and tour-office scene every evening, a Goreme hotel is easier.

If you want a cheaper room and plan to spend almost no time using hotel facilities, paying for a full spa property may not make sense.

Seraphim vs Kayakapi Premium Caves

Both provide high-end cave accommodation and strong wellness facilities. Kayakapi is a much larger restored hillside complex near Urgup, while Seraphim is a smaller historic-mansion experience in Mustafapasa with an intimate spa-hotel feel.

Is Seraphim Cave Suites & SPA worth considering?

If you want a luxury cave-and-stone stay with an indoor pool, proper hammam, sauna and excellent current guest scores, Seraphim is one of the strongest properties to compare in Mustafapasa.

The main question is location. For travellers who intentionally want a quieter historic village rather than Goreme, that can actually be one of the hotel's biggest advantages.
