Cappadocia does not have one central airport or train station. Most visitors fly to Kayseri Airport (ASR) or Nevsehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV), then continue by pre-arranged shuttle or private transfer to their hotel.
Kayseri Airport or Nevsehir Airport?

Travelling by overnight bus
Long-distance buses connect Cappadocia with Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya and other Turkish cities. Services usually arrive at Nevsehir, Goreme or another regional station depending on the route. Overnight travel can save a hotel night, but sleep quality varies.
Check the exact arrival station before booking and arrange the final journey to your hotel. If you arrive early, ask your hotel whether luggage storage is available.
Can you travel by train?
There is no convenient passenger train directly into central Cappadocia. Train-based routes normally require a transfer from Kayseri or another city and are less practical for a short first visit. Flying or taking a bus is usually simpler.
Driving to Cappadocia
A rental car gives freedom for valleys, villages and flexible stops. Main roads are generally straightforward, but hotel access can involve steep, narrow streets. Ask your hotel about parking before arrival. In winter, check road and weather conditions and avoid unfamiliar valley roads after dark.
