Exedra Cappadocia Review

Exedra Cappadocia is one of the larger hotel complexes in Ortahisar. The property was created by restoring historic houses and mansions across the hillside, combining traditional stone architecture with modern spa facilities, a heated infinity pool, private-pool suites and several dining spaces.

Where is Exedra Cappadocia?

Exedra is in Ortahisar, one of Cappadocia's quieter historic towns. It is a useful alternative for travellers who want to stay near the main attractions without being in central Goreme.

The property's terraces look across Ortahisar, surrounding valleys, fairy chimneys and toward Mount Erciyes.

How large is the hotel?

Exedra began as a restoration project involving historic houses and mansions across several acres. Its hotel group currently describes the completed property as having 86 rooms, multiple restaurants, a winery, spa, fitness centre, heated infinity pool and meeting spaces.

This makes it very different from Hezen Cave Hotel's intimate 19-room setup. Exedra is better understood as a larger full-service property.

The difference is significant. A standard Suite gives you more space, a fireplace and hot tub, while a Pool Suite adds a private pool and a larger 80 m² layout.

For this hotel, comparing the exact room category matters more than comparing only the hotel name.

Heated infinity pool

Exedra's official spa information says the outdoor infinity pool has a heating system and can be used even in winter conditions.

That makes it a stronger option for colder-season travellers than properties where the main outdoor pool closes outside summer.
